This is our patented sear for the XD and XDM. It is made from S7 tool steel and is CNC machined to precise tolerances to give you a smooth, light, and crisp trigger pull. It will work with all XD and XDM models (except for the XD 45 with the thumb safety.) It is also designed to work with all of our existing trigger kits to give an even better trigger break. This Sear does not reduce trigger travel like the other sears on the market. We have solved that issue with our Striker Safety Lever. Trying to remove the trigger travel with just the sear can cause issues with the timing of the striker safety and limits the amount of pre-travel reduction possible in a trigger kit. Some very minor fitting may be required.
